1. What is your screenplay about?

Even though it is a decision which society has shunned into a negative light, it is one of many examples of how we continue to repeat our ourselves throughout time.

2. Why should this screenplay be made into a movie?

It should be made into a movie because I…

10pg Stage Play Reading of THE TEA PARTY by Gregory Cole

WILDsound Festival's avatarWILDsound Festival

Watch the Stage Play Reading of THE TEA PARTY:

CAST LIST:

NARRATOR – Rob Salerno
WENDY – Maya Woloszyn
JOAN – Megan Leach
NAGASAKI – Troy Patterson
FISHERMAN – David Occhipinti

Get to know writer Gregory Cole:

1. What is your stage play about?

The play is a satire about the trials and tribulations of America’s one percent, as well as the country’s obsession with guns. The Tea Party movement that arose in the US after 2008 is also satirized in the play, as the Republican party struggled to reconcile the aims of this rising faction with those of its wealthiest members.

2. Why should this play be performed on stage and seen by all?

I was greatly influenced by the great satires of Old Comedy by Aristophanes. It is important that a culture has the confidence to look at itself with a critical and humorous eye.

Watch the Poetry Reading of TIMELESS BELOVED:

Poetry Performed by actress Maya Woloszyn

Get to know poet Emmanuel Hampton:

1) What is the theme of your poem?

The theme of “Timeless Beloved” is remembrance. Rekindling a connection between artist and his creation. It is a yearning to keep the presence of true love close; and to cherish it forever. It is not about a particular person, but about the love of art and creation.

2) How would you like people to respond when they read or watch your poetry reading?

I want them to feel it. I want them to keep that passion, that love, that one thing that drives their existence; and hold it close. I want it to provoke greater works within themselves and beyond.

3) How long have you been writing poetry?

I have been writing poetry for a very long time. I’ve always loved free verse…

Watch the Novel Transcript Reading of TO FLY AGAIN:

Poetry Read by actress Maya Woloszyn

Get to know writer Rachelle Hasnas:

1. What is your novel about?

My book is a memoir but so much more. To Fly Again- Portrait of a BIPOLAR Life is the story of my son’s struggle with this mental disorder but also features a substantive section providing educational material on bipolar disorder from the National Institute of Mental Health. The inclusion of Joshua’s poetry appearing throughout the pages of this, his story offers the reader a deeper understanding into the profound anguish he experienced with this oftentimes crippling disease. This work shares my tumultuous journey with my son through many years of pain and struggle, and finally my process of dealing with his death. Both my voice as a mother and my voice as a therapist are interwoven in its telling. Yet this book rises…

Excerpts of the world press + comments from world-renowned authors concerning

ADOPTED BY AN AMERICAN HOMOSEXUAL IN THE BELGIAN CONGO

Libération (Paris): «One does not often encounter a novel told in three voices. In ADOPTED BY AN AMERICAN HOMOSEXUAL IN THE BELGIAN CONGO (or AHBC) , Albert Russo lets the protagonists, each in turn, express their hopes, expectations and frustrations in their daily lives. And as the story unravels from one version to the other, the themes which the author wishes to tackle are exposed in an intimistic mode: life in…
